Running Springs: ( 2 miles/5 mins)
The Running Springs area offers activities year round including horseback riding, shopping, restaurants and other mountain activities. Many restaurants  are within minutes of the lodge. It's the mountains, so things close early. Remember to check the hours of operation.

Jensen's Foods just down the road in Running Springs, will have everything you might need. From fresh produce, meats, sushi, bakery, fresh fish to wine, beer and spirits. Most Friday and Saturday nights they BBQ  Tri-tip, chicken, sausage and ribs you can pick up already to eat in the service deli.
 
Big Bear Lake/Village: (15 miles/30 mins)

For your dining pleasure, the Village Restaurants offer casual to fine dining,. Your choice of Mexican, Italian, American, and Indian food. For your sweet tooth there are Ice Cream stores, Fudge stores, Candy stores and Coffee shops. You can spend all day exploring the Village Shops. 
The Village Theater on Pine Knot has four screens and shows first-run movies. Also located in the Village are four night spots - The Cave with live entertainment, AV Nightclub, Murrays, Club Bombay, Nottingham's, Whiskey Dave's and the historic Chads.
Every season: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, Big Bear Lake has something for everyone! Check out Alpine Slide open year round!
Escape Room anyone? Escape from a ski lodge in the biggest blizzard of the century.
Green Valley Lake: (5 miles/12 mins)
This “best kept secret on the mountain” is secluded and surrounded by National Forest. For all these reasons it has remained small, picturesque, and uncrowded. Green Valley Lake has something going on all the time. Fishing, pedal boating, kayaking, canoes and paddle boards.
Skypark at Santa's Village
It's not the old Santa's Village anymore. Attractions include, rock climbing wall, bike park, restaurants, archery and bungee jumping.
Snow Valley Ski Resort:
Snow Valley is just minutes away with snow play, skiing, snow boarding and restaurants during the snow season.
Snow Drift Snow Tubing Park:
Just minutes up the road and a great way to entertain both kids and adults.​

Lake Arrowhead: (10 miles/20 mins)
Lake Arrowhead Village is nestled in the beauty of the woods, having the charm of Swiss chalets, while offering a variety of modern amenities. A beautiful 10 mile scenic drive from the Lodge.
 
The Village houses an assortment of quaint specialty shops, as well as outlet stores such as: Jockey, Bass, Famous Footwear and Coach, among others. In addition, there are numerous convenience stores, such as Stater Bros, dry cleaners, flowers, post office,  and a number of great eateries.
The Belgian Waffle Works has always been a favorite! Always busy, always a wait, but worth the food and the view which overlooks Lake Arrowhead. Sit inside or out!!
